Tips I found dumplings are all right to freeze, but it takes a bit more patience to cook them. However, reheating from frozen is not so ideal, as the juice of the meat is absorbed into the pastry and so the dumpling is less juicy, and sometime the filling can be dry. So, I always serve dumplings freshly cooked.
